Last Thursday (October 8th) we welcomed our new little Claire into our family. She is beautiful and sweet and soft and cuddly - and still sleepy - yea. :) The labor and delivery went really well - as far as things like that go :) It took a little while to get things started, but once she came, it was fast. (She ended up being delivered by a Dr. who just happened to be walking by in the hall!) The other kids are really excited. We have to set the timer to alleviate problems of fighting over who gets to hold her. Parker has become much more vocal and demanding, but that will hopefully mellow a little bit as time goes on. We are so grateful for the miracle of her new life, for her good health, and for the profound blessing of family.

I'm so glad that things went well. I can't see any pictures on your blog--I can't wait to see what she looks like! I adore her name. That's been on our list of favorite names for ages. Congratulations!
