This picture has nothing to do with a lost tooth, but I thought it was a cute one of her. So, Abbey lost a tooth last week. It has been loose FOREVER and it finally came out. (Bryson actually tried several times to pay her to let him pull it out, and even attempted a hostile takeover/extraction at one point! I think keeping it gave her a sense of power and control...) ANYWAY, once it finally came out, she was trying to wash it off and it went down the drain! I actually took the drain apart - which felt pretty handyman-ish to me - but couldn't find it. Luckily she really was ok with just giving the toothfairy a note. Abbey is pretty sentimental and "attached" and I was expecting a disaster, but was really grateful that things seemed to turn out just fine ...Whew.

I LOVE it when you update. Now if you would only add a pic of yourself so we can see you in your prego glory!! But wait!! I will see in you in a week!!!! I'm so excited (so is Ryan) - oober excited if you will.
I'm excited to see Abbey without a tooth - can she whistle through it? suck soup with it?
and Parker - he he - you should just say that he's practicing to be a Calvin Klein model!! I hope he hasn't gotten out of the underwear phase until after we see him!!
Bryson and stiches - will he have a scar? That would be cool & I love that he's playing baseball - good sport!!
Love you guys and CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!! Extra doses of love to Bryson and Chad since we won't get to see them! Miniature golf won't be the same without Bryson constantly pointing out that he beat me!
Shelley, you are such a good Mom to take the drain apart! I would have said, "Oh, don't worry, we can just write the Tooth Fairy a note!" I loved all of your journaling stories...they are so sweet and such neat experiences!

I just checked in on your blog and caught up and...it seems congratulations are in order! Yeah! How fun to have a new baby! I am very impressed w/the potty training-we are getting nowhere w/our Abby! It doesn't seem that long ago we were pregnant and sharing our daily stories together. Still miss you guys! New Mexico is so lucky!
Those teeth are hard to part with. It's kinda like hair. And we feel bad about Bryson. What a trooper though! Darn those missionaries (wink).

We miss you guys so much. I love that Abbey was praying for us the day we left, that was so sweet. Emma's got some notes for Abbey we need to mail. we are having major ABQ withdrawal and haven't quite settled into things here so we are really missing all you guys. It looks like you are having a fun and eventful summer. hope you're feeling good. hfg
